The Shape of Fire 2018
paper and fire

The Shape of Fire was made in my wood stove during the winter of 2018. Collaborating with fire, ash and smoke, I'm drawn to the charred line and form from the embers' unpredictable movements.
Assembled, the fire drawings are reminiscent of the quirky magical landscape of my recent trip to Joshua Tree, CA.
